The landing thud of boots accompanied by the slight "ting" of gem hitting pavement would be the only significant giveaway that someone approached. His eyes ever searching the shadows for anything new or interesting he might discover, the man seemed to slip into the lobby of a tavern. Making his way up to the bar top, he keeps to himself, not making any greetings on the way in, as well as not making eye contact. The shadows around him seemed to be dragged along by his own, seeming to bring light into the room as the shadows are pulled away. Feeling comfort as the Shadows follow him his hand idly moves up to the Red stone hanging from his neck, caressing it as if to calm it's hunger.
As he calmed the stone the lighting of the room seemed to return to normal, all of this being highly unnoticeable unless someone had been idly gazing at the shadows cast by the taverns dim lighting. Yawning Kyle feels the stretching dry skin of his lips and recalls why he had entered the tavern to begin with, raising his attention from the stone on his neck he looks for the tender. Calling out to him he begins to contemplate what drink he wants as the man approaches. "Orange Julius, please." Kyle asks not wanting to go through the hassle of trying to convince the man that his I.D. is real.
"2.50" the man replies, taking into account the buck 25 for each the milk and orange juice in the beverage requested.
Reaching into his pocket he grabs a few pieces of paper, Running his ringed finger along the surface he begins to use the shadows to bend and warp the light around the paper, giving it the appearance of dollar bills. Doing all this in his pocket he just pretends the money is difficult to get to before sliding it out and handing it to the man. "Keep the change, I don't need it." he says smiling gratefully to the tender.
In another moment the tender returns with his drink, and places it on the table, giving the strange man no more attention now that he has payed and been served.
With the slight privacy he enjoys he again raises his hand to the stone around his neck, caressing it slowly.
